Met Trans A Special Issue Focuses on Materials for Energy Applications
Posted on 1/7/2013 12:00:00 AM:
Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A (Met Trans A) has launched the first in a new series of special issues focused on materials for energy applications.
Edited by K. Scott Weil, Owens-Illinois Inc, these issues are seeking to publish structure/property studies on specific materials that are used in energy conversion or storage applications. Innovative ways of producing metals and other materials that can be done with less energy or less pollutants are also of interest.
Over the past few years, many papers on materials for energy applications have been published in Metallurgical and Materials Transactions, dealing with topics such as solar energy, solid oxides fuels, and nuclear materials. With the advent of these new special issues, these topics will now be indexed under the Materials for Energy Applications category.
A highly respected, peer-reviewed journal, Met Trans A is jointly published by TMS and ASM International.
